Brand Identity
21st Century Insurance is the ninth largest personal auto insurance stock company in the U.S. and insures nearly 1.2 million automobiles. Formerly 20th Century Insurance, the company changed its name in early 2000 and approached us to create an evolutionary identity that would build on the existing equity of the company’s column logo. The new identity modernizes the column and gives it a more imposing presence in a unique shape. We changed the color from brown to the more energetic and bold red. The typeface is strong, yet simple, conveying a trustworthy, solid image.
