How do you fix a design system on a brand selling one-million cases/year? Very carefully. We updated the wordmark to make it easier to read and simplified the front label hierarchy while retaining color-coding across varietals. Marlstone and the vineyard designated tier were subsequently rolled into the redesign program. The brand sold 1.8 million cases in 2012 and continues to grow.
