Trinchero Family Estates

Montevina Winery in the California gold country of Amador County focuses on classic Italian varietals. Owned by Trinchero Family Estates, who also owns the Sutter Home brand, Montevina’s redesign goal was to re-establish the brand’s impact on shelf, and better communicate Montevina’s core positioning of “A taste of Italy in California.” The use of clear pressure-sensitive labels and the striped capsule communicate a modern personality and gold sun icon captures the feeling of the warm Tuscan sun.
 
Terra D’Oro and Cucina Mista are Montevina sub-brands, which also focus on Italian varietals. Terra D’Oro process images are included to demonstrate design development.
 
Sutter Home’s brand Fre, is an alcohol-removed wine alternative available in five varietals and a sparkling Brut.
